thats a real nice snake Steph..it looks like a brown vine with eyes but very nice

It's not Candoia carinata paulsoni (Solomon islands ground boa). Pattern is totally wrong.

Sorry that doesn't help much in identifying what it is but at least it rules out 1 Candoia species LOL.

Thanks! I was reading that the solomons have zig zag patterns... But pacific tree boas have stripes, so that must be what she is?

head and body shape look more like the solomon tree boa, baroni i beleave?

A couple of striped Candoia carinata carinata on this page:

Colours of Candoia is highly variable even of the same species, they seem to "change" a bit too. My paulsoni was a dusky pink sometimes but sometimes looked v.grey (usually before she took a dump LOL).

Yah thats a lovely snake you got there. Lovely unusual shaped head and sweet eyes....great that she got a nice temperamnet too...
