Default Ballpiefun's 2007 SerpenCo Run

Many of you will no doubt remember the project I undertook to have some US corns delivered into the UK. The first attempt, through Mark at MOReptiles was aborted because of the difficulty in arranging a reliable courier but the second attempt, through Rich Z at SerpenCo, with delivery to Hamm through RobRoy at Glade Herps was succesful and as a result 77 corns made the trip across the Atlantic.

Of these 77 a pair of het Anery C (Ashy) and Hypo went on to their new home in The Netherlands, a male Lavender het Bloodred went off to Sweden while a male Bloodred het Lavender was escorted by 3 females to their new home in Northern Ireland, a Blizzard, a Silver Queen Ghost and a Lavender het Bloodred. The remaining 70 accompanied me from Hamm to SE9.

Of these, a pair of Amel Bloodred, a pair of Hypo Bloodred, a pair of Lavender Bloodred het Hypo and a pair of Ultramel, together with a male Opal Motley, a female Lavender Motley het Opal and a female Sunkissed were picked up the next morning and taken back to their new home in Derby, leaving 59 still in my hatchling rack.

A further 23 of these will be picked up by The Reptile Taxi on Friday and delivered to various drop off points between Middlesex and Glasgow on Friday and Saturday.

Hopefully those of you who have already collected your hatchlings will use this thread to post pictures of them once you have them settled in. It would be nice to have a complete record of all 77 that boarded the Delta Airlines flight from Miami last week.

Would those of you that are having hatchlings delivered by Reptile Taxi on Friday/Saturday like me to start the process by taking and posting pictures of your little babies?

It's official...............

I am the worlds worst photographer.

I have just taken 12 photos of a Blizzard and not one of them was any good. I blamed it on the fact that the bright white/pink colour of the blizzard against the white paper towel was not ideal. I have just taken 10 shots of a very dark Bloodred on the white kitchen towel and if anything they are worse!!

Any photographers in the SE9 area got a couple of hours and a good camera to spare?
