Coming soon - Baby Hognoses
She caught me out as she hasn't shed but luckily I had put a nest box in ready. I was just going to bed and doing the final round to switch lights off when I found Josie laying. So far there are 6 healthy looking eggs and number 7 on it's way. I will update in the morning as I'm in need of sleep.
With her not having shed I thought I had a day or 2 to set the incubator up. Of course it was in the most inaccessible spot as everything is upside down with the work going on in the kitchen and garage. It's up and running now but I will leave the eggs 'til morning just to make sure.

She's laid 19 so far but a few duds amongst them by the looks of it. I have transfered most to the incubator as she is still digging and was rolling them around. I can't see if there are any more to come and I don't want to disturb her too much.

That was the final tally. Josie took herself out off the tub and settled in the hide. I gave her a quick once over tonight and fed her - she took a medium mouse as though she hadn't eaten for months although it was only 8 days since her last meal.

Congrats! Nice looking snake. Breeding is going to be a plan for me in the future.... not hoggies, corns I think...
