Default T+ Albino Red Blood Python

Not the greatest pics;

But here is my male 2007 Born T+ Albino Red Blood Python;

He, as well as his sibling, are growing like weeds! Pounding anything I throw their way! They're also developing a lovely orange glow which gets better with each shed!

I know that feeling, I've literally just paid off my loan for these

I'm still trying to justify the price tags of the T- Albino's, the REAL Albino's! $20k a pair is just a little out of my reach! (For now!)

i got to have respect for a keeper that concentrates on a single species complex primarily!! and a top notch species at that!!..

my great grandfather years ago gave me some advice: he said- son, if you want to really become the best at something, pick something that is harder than most and work with it until you master it. it'll be more rewarding and you will stand above the crowd. and do it not to get the attention, but because you love what you are doing. it's better to do one thing expertly than ten things half *ssed. why be a run of the mill carpender when you can be a mastern cabinet maker. the better the craftsman you are the more satisfaction you get from your work. never pursue a goal because it is easy, always do the hard things. it will always be hard at first and it may take a very long time to get even a little good but you can't ever get discouraged because one day it will come together and it will be easy for you. people will only want what you make because they know you are the best and they will be willing to pay top dollar for your work. and you will looking forward to doing your work everyday and you will be the boss......

i paraphrased this but that's what he told me a couple years before he past. i know this doesn't all apply to what you are doing but a little of it probibly does....i took that advice and it helped me accomplish all that i wanted in life for the most part. after seeing several of your P. curtus ssp., if you lived near me, you'd be the only person i would go to.

i apologise if this sounds like a fan letter but i just had to give credit where credit is due!!... what all you seem to keep and raise, looks to me to be the cream of the crop. i see a dedicated herper who isn't a member of the herd. i'm working with these wild caught northern emeralds for many of the same reasons i suspect that you focus primarily on the bloods!!... i'll probibly get ribbed about this long post that looks to have gotten away from me by other rfuk members but hey so what! i call 'em how i see them!! one final thing... i am willing to bet that you would be the first to admit that you don't know it all!

ok !... i've spoke my peice!!

First of all HABU, that's the biggest reply I think I've ever seen to a picture thread!

But thanks, I'm working hard to produce quality animals and new patterns and colourations, as well as experimenting with new husbandry methods to improve feeding responses etc. So far, not one of my collection is notoriously aggressive, or a bad feeder, quite the opposite.

It's a species I enjoy working with, even if nobody takes any offspring from me, it's no skin off my nose as I'm certainly happy to keep them and grow them on!

I do keep a few other species, Balls and Carpets, but these are my main passion, I just can't let the Ball's and Carpets go as they've been with me for years!
