I am thinking of buying these 2 boas, could you tell me what you think they are?? they are 2.5 years old and 3-4ft in length.


This male is a lot more grey than this pic suggests and his tail a nice red

i would say both nice commons mate but could do with better pics, the marking on the second one do resemble my square tail to some extent, lovely markings on the first, poss arabant?

The second one looks like it could have some bcc in it, if they were bci x bcc I wouldn't be that suprised, but proably pretty commons

No internet at home for a few weeks, may take a while to respond. Should be back to normal in Sept.

impossible to say, they don't scream a particular locale to me nor are thye BCC.

commons, bccx bci or some sort of locality mongral. Tis impossible to say really.

pics are a bit washed out so hard to say on the second one re: tail patterning. First looks common though, can get that tail pattern mutation from pregnancy temperature fluctuation I believe (or even just naturally occuring in BCI).

If you're sure they're 2.5 years old must be either a locality cross (doesn't have any markings I personally recognize re: dwarf boas) or slow starters/stunted somehow.

w/o paperwork or known parentage I wouldn't really pay more'n standard yearling prices myself, depends how much you trust the 2.5 year old statement
