Default He didnt bite the hell outta me!

Im very excited, infact its made my weekend! I know he's only little and his bites dont hurt but i had given up handling this guy without a mini hook. usually if you tried to handle him he would just repeatedly bite and musk and get that stressed out i thought it better for his sake to implement a hands off policy. I came back after a few beers tonight feeling brave and thought id would give it another go... after lifting him out with the hook i managed to get these pics without being bitten once! yes the pics are rubbish (taken with a 2.3mp camera) but this guy NEVER gets photographed becuase he really dosnt like being messed with. anyway, heres my albino black rat.

He's gorgeous. I have a Grey rat that was like that but she is calming down, you've just got to persevere.

Thats good to here *h* and thanks for the comments.
This guy has a way of imtimidating unlike any of my other snakes and i think becuase of that i havnt put as much time as i could have into tameing him. Theres something about the way a rat snake sits in the 's' postion that makes you cautious ..plus he's bloody fast when he wants to get away! how are yours getting on? would love to see some pics

Haha I know the feeling! We've got a 6 foot adult that loves to intimidate us, he's got the 's' and twitching off to a fine art, but he really is all bluff. It's thier way of trying to scare you off, hillarious when it's a foot long worm though.
Yeah my pair are growing like weeds, will have to take some updated pics for you, one's really orange like yours and the other is really pale pink, great little snakes though loads of personality. One is still moving his viv furnishings around, is yours still doing it?
