Default Morpheus taking a dip

morpheus having a soak, is it normal for them to soak like this he has been in there nearly an hour?

I don't know much about corns,but have you checked for external parasites?

many snakes enjoy a gd soak. hehe they are fab pics, he is a abeautiful colour!!

Nice pic
1. Could be relaxing, or cooling down.
2. Could be going into shed.
3. Could have mites or ticks, when he comes out, have alok in the water bowl, if you notice any little black things at the top or bottom of the water, then he has mites, mites look exactly like popy seeds :wink:

my amel corn loves being in the water bowl. he does go in there quite a lot, maybe at least once a day he has a full body soak!!! beautiful colours on him.

the water was clean no black bits when he got out, ive looked over him last night and cant see anything living on him, so he must just like water

thanks his colours are what drew me to him, i know he was an import as a baby but dont know where from I will ask when I go and get his dinner

i don't know much about corns but if a royal is soaking it usually isn't a good sigh unless its in shed or it had just eaten a very big meal in which case they sometimes like a good soak, but just like the others said keep an eye out for mites ect...
