Here are a few sneaky shots of my New Anery female, she changes between a stunning silver to full on black dependant upon the time of day.
I got here from the Guys at Snake & Adders.- Cheers guys.

She is about to shed so not handlingher at the moment, will get more pics up once done.

She's beautiful!

It's such a shame there is no way of telling if they're Anery or not except word passed form the breeder once they get bigger. We have a 5ish foot female in the shop at the moment who has the same tiny amount of red on the tail, same dark colours, same tiny orange flecks down her sides...
But I guess the last owners would have known if she was an anery and said something...
Although it makes you wonder - what if...?!

Good points

Charles has bred from her already and he owned her for a few years (I have seen a couple of the 07's she produced - Very nice).
You're quite right about history - thats why I chose to buy from Charles at Snakes & Adders - his reputation is great and I'm sure he wouldn't ruin that by selling her to me if she wasn't legit.
I intend putting her to an DH Ghost or DH Snow next year so I will be 100% sure

The redish coulour is actually brown and I was quick to check into it - John Berry says (in "Designer Morphs" page 210) that some Type 1 anery's are more yellow and brownish whilst others show shades of grey and black. Upon close inspection I have been unable to find actual red or orange anywhere (which is reassuring)

You should put yours to a het or a visual anery and prove her out if you are in any doubt.
That "What if" is a real pain, but as a naturally worrying type of person I have learned to live with it - lol.

Cheers

Chris

We got her as a normal, I've not seen one quite like her before though!
If I had something to breed her to, just to see, I would!

I thought anery was the lack of colour? if she has brown and yellow in her how is that anery?
Not saying she is not a anery, just a little confused?

This is my anery
