Thanks folks

The reptile section is pretty cool - they have one area where the main reptiles are - venemous snakes, tuatara, lizards, frogs, torts and then the "Islands in Danger" section whihc houses the komodo dragons. They were all so stone like which was a bit odd though and it is hard getting pics witht he humidity misting your lens.

I felt pretty cool with my new camera and it's fancy big lens thing until some guy came and sat next to me in the komodo enclosure with a Canon with the biggest lens I have EER seen in my life - I kind of faded into the background in shame then hehe Know what guys feel like using the slate in public loos now hehehe

The baby giraffe was gorgeous but the whole area was so dark, pics were near impossible without a night vision mode

The venemous snakes shocked me actually, especially the gabbys and such because, having only ever seen them on the internet, you don't expect them to be so bloomin huge!! The last viper pic above was the biggest one - nearly as fat as my leg I swear!!

Its not the size, it was the noise, sounded like Darth Vader on a mega phone to me!! and being 3ft away with nothing in between, incredible experience but i still wouldnt keep venomous i dont think, i like interacting with my snakes without the fear of dying One thing i will say though, Gaboons are truly beautifull animals, even more so than the pics suggest!!!
