i agree joe you have the rite to give your opinion i think sum1 is just getting buit upset thy have been proven wrong by more than 1 member on here as 400 runner has made some very very ood points and hes who id listen to as he has the experience with afrocks so he sthe one whos gonna know the captive requierments and tbh i stil lstick to my guns of 8x4x4 being fine for a afrock as at end of teh day they no no different and lets face it they got it easy i mean heating and food on a reguler basis no exercise requiered all tehy got to do it put up with a lil bit of handling they have no worry bout the problems in the wild so i know for one if tehy could speak (silly way to put things i know) tehy wouldnt be complaining about it at all

CHarver - I disagree. IMHO I don;t thin kyou should be alowed to keep snakes as they should all be in the wild going where they want doing what they want eating what they want, not being stuck in viv having to be handled etc

Yes i keep snakes because we ca but in an ideal world IMO they should all be free and no matter how big a viv we give them or how natural we make the viv they will never be fre to do what they want

I'd listen to 400runner personally... he keeps all the big 5 and from what he has said he has managed to tame them as well...

The biggest Af Rock ever was about 29ft... the largest Burm was about 25ft... I doubt either would get over 20ft if you get a male (correct me if i'm wrong) and they say the floorspace should be the same size or bigger than the snake... so 6x3x3 is big enough for an 18ft snake...
