i have a baby african rock who is as tame as both of my corns. the key with large snakes with bad reputations is gentle handling but at the same time showing them who's boss ie. trying to get them out even when they are striking or they will learn that aggressiveness makes you leave them alone!
all my experiences with rocks and anaconda's have been the opposite of what people will usually make out on here, apart from wild caught individuals i have seen in shops!
there are risks involved with them as there are with burms but a young snake in the hands of a responsible owner will usually result in a placid adult!
