so after trying to make yourself out to be a well rounded debater, which i was almost convinced by as you made some decent points, you make a comment about the jewellery a guy is wearing and use it to judge him as a person! thats not narrow minded at all is it!
if your referring to my snake only being a baby, this is true in terms of the african rock python but i have good experience with large burmese pythons, boa's and some retics too!
i agree a 10x 4 or 12 x 4 would be fine for one too but your original point was that the snake would need a room as it can grow 30 feet (which in real terms is not true!)
what experience do you have in keeping large pythons GRS that makes you so well qualified to speak so definitively on the subject?
ps. after all this debate, it looks like eminems new snake is a sri lankan rock python (python molurus pimbura)or could be an indian rock. hard to tell what exactly it is from the pics! and they do admittedly make better pets than most afrocks

your corn snakes obviously make you a world authority on keeping large pythons so you are definitely right!

I worded it wrong - I love snakes like we all do, but they should all be free in the wild, not cooked up in vivs. This is only for our satisfaction, not the snakes!

And i do keep snakes because I can and I love them, BUT IMO they should al be in the wild. But whether i buy snakes or not people will always keep them so I mite as well!

i'm all for keeping the big guys. people just have to realize what they will become and must provide for them accordingly. a bull mastiff pup is cute and all but not a dog to be taken casually... that cute pony will be a full blown horse someday. as far a handling goes, i'm a firm believer right or wrong, that proper, frequent handling actually reduces stress by de-sensitizing the snake. it's better for a snake to remain mellow during contact with humans than to have a hissy-fit whenever you come near it. as far as cageing goes, you'll know what size cage to build for your big boid by the time he gets to that size, assuming you are starting with a young one. i had a retic, burn bci, and a green anaconda by the time i was 16. you'll grow in knowlege and experience as you snake grows. it's called herping.

i agree. if eminem isnt as experienced as he makes out to be then surely he will gain experience as his snakes grow and hopefullt do his research and it will save yet another snake abondened because someone didnt do their homework.

eminem this isnt directed at you i was just using a example. also im sure you wont just pay no attention and just let the snake grow without knowing whats cooming. will you ?
