One assumes you mean hot water bottles? Longs as not too hot should be ok, I know you can get heat pads-like hand warmer things fishermen use.

my power has been off 4 times in the last month and i have been putting hotwater bottles wrapped in towels in the 4 vivs with our royals. the power was off for 15 hours at atime and there is no real ill effects except that the drop in temps has kicked my two males into fasting. they havent eaten fpor a month but they were due for it anyway. good luck with it, hope you dont get hit too bad

I would wrap in towels and then pillow case so they can't get into them....other than that they should be fine...its what i use when transporting reps...

unless its really cold or the powers off for a long time I wouldnt worry too much, id be worried that the snakes or whatever animals got under the towel and in direct contact with the hot water bottle

we had no power from december 27th til jan 6th.... The house was so cold our breath hung in the air...

The life saver for our reptiles, and the fish was a 5kw diesel powered generator. £500 to buy, and £20 a day to run, but worth every penny
