hello im new to the forum and i am going to be getting a snake soon so i wondering on what type of snake i should get as a beginner and tips on how to look after them.....


my friend (tomcat) is breeding corns would you recommend me getting one of his hatchling but pease comment and help me put and i would also like to know how much it would cost as a estimate

Milks, Corns or Kingsnakes are all great starter snakes. I went for the milksnake for a starter as they are beautiful to the eye.

But seeing as your friend is breeding them. Go for the cornsnake. There are many caresheets on the internet. All giving different information.

I would recommend doing alot of research, you can never do enough research.

my first snake was an African House...small, easy to handle and lookafter. Other than those you've got Corns, Milks, Kings, some Ratsnakes, Western Hognoses...as long as you do your research there are any number of snakes that a beginner can care for well.
