Default *newbie flapping* OMG! OMG! EGGS!

Sorry, I'm jumping up and down right now...

One of my girls is guarding my first clutch of cornsnake eggs, and for the brief look I took it looks like I have some good ones!

I'm expecting at least all Anerythristic, might have some stripes and maybe more interesting things...

That would be my exact response too! Congrats on the clutch, now you just have to persuade her to give them up....

Yeah. I'm going to leave her alone with them until tomorrow - I have the afternoon off work anyway - and then coax her out and see if I can get her to eat something small (she wouldn't eat Sunday morning, and I'm not surprised - there are at least ten eggs in there, and I can't believe they all fit in her!) once they're not in her viv.

Now to wonder what the odds will give me if I get some successful babies - I know what possibilities there are based on the genetics of the parents, but it's still going to be a surprise when each nose pips the shell...
