Question adders ??

are adders u get i the uk poisonous if so how strong is it and can you keep them

no their not poisonous their venomous not sure how strong and you need a dwal to keep them

yeh they are venomous. and i think it depends on the person how badly they react to it but i think u get quite ill from it.

There's a bit about bites on this site.
Adder or Viper - Vipera berus
I know Adder bites can kill a dog so I assume an average person would feel a bit off colour for a while after a bite.

a bloke i usedd tp speak to was bit on the bum by one and was in bed for 2 days being sick and feeling really ill

That must've hurt, poor guy . Bites from adders seem quite nasty.
I found this site which is a bit better and got a list of all the people who have died from an adder bite since 1900. Page 1 of 1. About Snake bites.

There NOT poisonous.... there Venomous...

And you need a DWAL to keep them
