What would you consider the pro's and cons being then?

Sorry i just want to be 110% sure

I read that milksnakes are very hidey and you need lots of places for them to hide now i'd like to see the one i buy often when they're just roaming about so would a corn be better for this?

ah fair do's , as I said I've never kept one, and just handled friend's and at shops when I was considering buying one. I've heard that they are quite secretive though and spend a lot of time in their hides.

Yeah both snakes when young can be very skitterish it's true. We have a young aztec corn at home and he is mad! It's kind of a cute mad though, not a nasty 'mad' if you catch my drift. He's very active in his enclosure too, it's very sweet, and they have such sweet little faces!

But it is all down to personal preference

any enclosure that opens at the top can make you look like a predator to a little snake...if it sees you or your hands coming down from above to pick it up it`ll get very nervous...you could be another animal wanting to eat the snake for dinner...lol
side opening ones are much better and also when you lift your snake out it won`t be dangling in the air so there`s much less chance of you dropping it if it does get a little skittish
good choices by the way, both are great beginner snakes but if i really had to chose i`d say a milk (but only cos i got one and he`s the best snake i ever had)

Either would be good.
For a corn it wouldn't cos much
Corn - £25-40
Smallish RUB - £10 (You can use plastic fishtanks from wilkos for babies)
Heatmat - £10
Stat - Up to £20 (ebays good)
Then some hides and decor is up to you (i used toilet roll tubes and a 29p water bowl)

I don't make that very much money at all lol
