Question Whats a ball python?

I've seen this word used but don't know what it is really...prob sounds stupid...what is a ball python?

Only need to know about snakes I have or am considering/interested in

I dont see what the fuss about royals are......everybody loves em!

My OH would kill for one. Personally I quite like them, but prefer Boas and carpets and things.

Royals are always nice to have around. They're just sweet snakes.

P.S. I prefer the name "Royal" python too, it more accurately represents the latin name Python regius. Plus they were always called Royal pythons in my old books.

The name "Ball Python" only seems to have come into general usage more recently. I don't think "Ball" Python does such a beautiful snake justice!
