Wats best for a royal python??

Orchid Bark Or

Aspen??

And with orchid bark it seems soily is this ok for the snake :S

I use pro rep hemp bedding it is like aspen and my snakes love it

aspen.

Orchid bark is supposed to be kept wet, if it's not it is VERY dusty/soily/messy.

Orchid bark should be damp, however this would mean it was too humid for a royal and could cause problems.

We personally use aspen or newspaper.

Mine's now on a mixture of bark and Aspen. this helps me to retain some more humidity and he's looking healthier and shedding better than ever.
