I have tried this a couple of times before with my '05 MBK but this is the first time i got some pics. I've been gauging her reaction each time to hand feeding and every time is the same. She's so focused on eating that she seems to forget i'm holding her or else she just doesn't care. I've yet to see any signs of stress when handfeeding her and with MBK's been such ferocious eaters i was worried it might get messy but each time has been a joy but i don't do it too often. What amazed me was the strenght she was using to anchor herself around my hand, at one point it was becoming quite painful but it all worked out ok.

Anyway heres some pics of the feast. I would just say that if anybody wants to attempt this, make sure and look out for any signs that your snake is getting stressed. I keep an eye on her anal vent to see if she's going to start musking. Always make sure to support the majority of your snakes body and make sure it has a good anchor on you as well. I only do this with my two most confident snakes as they also tolerate handling very well

I got her for fifty quid but the guy originally wanted eighty for her. She was very defensive and prone to strike when young, which put a lot of people off but she's an absolute joy to own now.

Cheers although i didn't do it out of bravado. I seen pics of people doing it with fully matured Easterns and Floridas so thought i would give it a go with my wee MBK.

If a mountain bike were to smell like a mouse she would have a dam good go at getting it down her neck
