Good question i think! Never really thought about it but then again i don't keep snakes that size anymore.
Years ago whenever i had a 'corpse' (yes i agree this thread is a bit morbid!) there would usually be something else that would eat it. That may sound a bit heartless to some but if one animals death can bring good to another then why not? It would happen in the wild. My Bosc monitor that i used to have had quite a varied diet to say the least, including a couple of Grey banded kings (which were very expensive at the time, but i would just like to stress that they died of natural causes) Just my thoughts, would still be interesting to know how to cope with such large snakes, in such unfortunate circumstances.
