At the end of the day ditta runs a business..............i dont think her quotes are that bad tbh and hey if you cant drive then whats your other option hey

if you dont want to pay the cost of delivery get on a train and get it yourself you will find it will probs cost the same amount doing it that way as it would having a taxi service do the job

I use cat and ditta because i trust them 100% and i know that what ever is coming to me comes safe

Arthravan is also delivering something to me too and the amount im paying i think is fair because she is coming out of her way to DO ME A FAVOUR so i dont mind paying what she asked for delivery

At the end of the day if you dont like the quote you get dont bitch about it and slate a good business as if you dont wanna pay it then get it yourself or dont bother at all

sorry just these are people that have and are going out of their way to do things for me so yes i am sticking up for them and defending them

but hey im one of the people that appreciates them

Just to add another point, as the reptiles that are carried are always in containers - then the only contamination to worry about are the exact same contamination threats that are as much of a threat from a visit with a reptile to a veterinary surgery.
A veterinary surgery as I am sure you will agree sees a much higher number of reptiles/animals and will only disenfect the table and perhaps change gloves between patients. A much higher risk there.
Nothing can protect against things that are airborne or carried on clothes/persons etc.

everything cat and ditta have ever transported to me has come to me safe happy and in the exact condition it left the original owner in

I have 100% trust in cat and ditta thats why i use them

WOW WOW WOW WOW.... now to say this has went off topic is an understatement, people commenting on education and stuff... not good guys People people people... i only asked if anyone considered starting a RT type company up here and the answer i got was yes, thanks to nerys for understanding exactly what i meant... and actually hoping to work together with whomever it may be.

To start commenting on the cleanliness of peoples cars n stuff was never ever what i intended by this post.

Whoever said earlier that the OP thinks things are gettin aggresive but he didnt agree... all i can say is well i told you so. I could see this coming a mile off, lets just close it up guys before anybody else ends up get offended.

And yes, Rob, you are right, it would be. However, then the costing of reptile couriers came into question reptile couriers replied regarding the expenses involved.
Apparently according to one member - even though the reptile couriers are far more experienced in the business - they are pulling the wool over reptilesrocks eyes - who must speak for everybody as it is obviously a very profitable business - as he speaks from personal experience (of studying law in a university and grabbing a lift to pick up reptiles off mates). Then somewhere along the way - the hygiene was also questioned.

So, whoever does decide to start a reptile courier business in Scotland, do be warned - these are the kind of people you are up against. Not taking away however from the 97% of customers that are happy to be able to purchase a reptile from afar when otherwise the probably could not. (Apart from the fact that you will always be broke and will wear your car parts out on a fortnightly basis).
