only have baby boa's at the mo,but 1's calm ,the others a little fiesty.

ive said burmese they are generally more placid, although mine has a colourful character lol i have know some really nasty boas!

I voted burmese, but you should also think about carpets. Coastals are usually dead calm, though of course there are exceptions. Baby carpets can be a bit of a handful, but they don't count cos they are small !

agree with carpets...very nice tame animals as adults but also i would add macklots...not often kept but adults ive met have been really well tempered

It really depends on how they are brought up from young.
I voted burmese as from my experience of my snakes and friends snakes the burmese seems so laid back, almost lazy compared to the others mentioned.

I've no experience of any so I haven't voted but I'd expect the Burmese to walk the poll above.
I've heard keepers say there just about the nicest snakes you can get large or small.

from what ive read on forums from owners Burms and BCI/BCCs seem to be pretty docile on the whole but with any animal there are exceptions.

My bci's are very calm, one is fiesty eater though, and will only strike feed, so have to be very careful there.
