Default royal acting like a cobra ??

Well my royal is on the carpet with the head and neck up off the floor vertical acting like a cobra. Does anybody elses do this??

It seems to be a common occurance in Royals, my lad does it now and again. I think it's normal if not someone will correct me i'm sure

I believe too much arching is called periscoping am i right? Which can be a neurological problem??

My royal does that sometimes I don't think it's anything to worry about.

All three of mine do it when they are given free roam of the living room. (I try to let them roam for about an hour or two a week.)

I've got some great pictures of my 3.5ft royal doing it, but I cant access it to post it from my work computer.

Your thinking of 'spinning' in Spider or Spider based royals.

It's perfectly normal for your royal to do what your describing, something along these lines:
