Default snakes in the sun

when the suns out in the summer, (about 4weeks of the year in great brit!!) i like to let my boa slither around the garden , he loves it on my freshly cut lawn , i would never consider leting my , kingsnake or corn snake loose on my lawn ,as they can realy move fast when there warm
i mean lightning fast when there warmed up!!

beware of your little ones

What about them getting nasties when out in the big wide world/garden? We make every effort sterilising when we bring things in (branches etc), yet not too much worry taking our snakes out? I've taken mine out in my hands, but not allowed them on the grass/floor/trees etc as I'm not sure it's a good idea.

I'm exactly the same. I'll sit in the garden in the sun with them on a bench for a little bit, but won't let them on the grass.

It's probably a very low risk, but I'm completely anal about it.
