Most of my mates know i keep snakes and lizards but dont really have any interest in them so i dont talk about my animals to my mates

I have a few friends that love the fact i keep reps. My boyfriend and I have also introduced one who is a new member on here to the world of reptiles and he now has a beardie he adores.
Also i bought my boyfriend his first lizard, a bosc as he always wanted to but never took the plunge. Most of my friends being rockers and metal heads etc tend to like the fact but my work mates just think i'm gross. Especially since i have tarantulas too.

Most of my friends think keeping snakes is a little weird, until I point out all the plus points to keeping snakes and then they tend to see it from our point of view.
Can't keep the kids away from the house though! Little sods!

My mate keeps a Royal and my cousin has had a few Royals but he gets bored of them after so long and sells them. thats about all I know round here that keeps them. the rest of the people I nkow say I am sad I even got called a BAD DAD for having a king snake
