Default Meet Ronnie - La Bahia Dwarf boa!

We've been very naughty today. We promised ourselves that we were just looking....and well, we slipped. Snakes'n'Adders, Leeds was a very silly place to visit, it had lots of lovely snakes that my OH couldn't resist!! So we ended up with this total cutie, a La Bahia dwarf boa, he's coming up two years old and is settling into his new house as we speak. Keeping with tradition, we naturally snatched a few shots before he went in! So many thanks to Chaz at Snakes'n'Adders for his time, advice and help with spending our money! Highly recommend popping in for a visit if you have money burning a hole in your pocket - you won't be disappointed.

A very reasonable £150, there was a nice, darker full size adult (male, 8yrs old) available for £225, but its nice to see them grow up. We didn't want a common boa as they get too big and chunky, very tempted by the Surinam babies as they were lovely, so we looked at their dwarf crosses and although gorgeous, there's no guarantee they'll stay small! This little guy has the nicest temprement, very calm but alert. No real breeding opportunities though, as apparently, females are about as common as rocking horse poo! Not too fussed, he's just a lovely addition.

If you need any more help spending money please do pop in. Hope the tom-tom got you home by a better route! Oh yes, I'm not Chaz. It's easy to tell the difference he's the northern soul skinhead, I'm Matt the heavy metal wookiee.

TomTom failed us once again, so we winged it, it was switched off and ditched in the boot, the useless bugger! We did get home a lot faster without it though! Apologies for the mistaken identity - was great to meet you Matt and I'm sure you'll help me empty my bank account around GTP hatchling time.... The OH is totally in love with his new purchase, he's like a mother hen, he's decided my old hides, bowls and viv are sub-standard for his precious new purchase and the new lil guy is having all new! If you see him lurking anywhere near your store brandishing a debit card, send him home! And thanks again!
