Sorry for you loss! What makes you think it is paramyxovirus? I am unaware of how this affects reptiles but thought it was more common in lizards than snakes? This is the virus that causes parvo in dogs I believe as well as various respiratory diseases in humans.
I can't help except to suggest, as I am sure you have done, strict isolation and hygiene between all animals. I am sure someone who does know will be able to help better...... sorry!

unless you've had a post mortem done they cannot possibly know what was wrong.
Theres nothing you can do other than to adhere to the strict quarentine you no doubt apply.
