I though what was all the fuss about, it seemed ok with the light handling,, then bam! great strike, lucky it was not a bit higher up, could of got him in the eye.

Its probably never been handled by owner, just the odd rat thrown in the tank, and as for the tank, well a tiny heat mat, no thermo, I bet.

No wonder the snake was off

so if it was to rap around your neck when being handled and start to constrict it isnt gonna suffocate ya ......but chances of that happening are very slim lol

The bit about having in in a cage as well, as she did not want it to escape and then try to strangle her around the neck while driving.

As we all know all constricting snakes will surprise you and wrap themselves around your neck, especially while driving or operating heavy machinery lol.

Its comments like that, and the other one of it can kill a person, gives snakes and snake owners a bad rep.

Lots of my friends questioned why I started to keep snakes, saying that I'm mad and they will end up killing me lol. After showing them and letting them handle they soon changed their minds. No to the extent they will keep them (although one is contemplating it) but they have a new view on snakes in general.

We need to educate people, not strengthen their misconceptions.
