Spaghnum Moss

just bought some spaghnum moss from b and q

Do most people putthe moss in the hide boxe on the warm mat i.e. over the heat mat to up the humidity like?

ALso - I haven't any of them plastic butty boxes so is it ok to just put the moss in a normal cardboard box hide??

I put mine in the hot end and I should think a box will be fine, it just wont last as long due to being damp.

Also, don't know if it is strictly needed, but I always microwave mine or make with boiling water then cool, in case of nasties.

aye i will do defo after i last got mites from orchid bark - never using substrate etc again without treating it myself first

do you just buch some up and put it against the side of he hide box or do you spread it across the floor of the hidebox?

i got told to just put it in there by some one (in a tub not cardboard) not on hot side snake is better to be cool at room temp rather then on the mat would over heat the snake thats if your putting the snake in there for 24 hours to get shed of
