Default "Deadly Reptiles" on tv now.

Anyone watching? I thought it was good up until they moved onto Pythons/Boas.... Then it started getting a bit sensationalized and some of their facts are dubious. Also, most of their "horror" stories seem to be down to idiots who don't understand snakes making silly mistakes and paying for them.

Like the woman who fell asleep next to her python.. Which then started to coil her - So they chopped its head off.

The rattlesnake roundup was particularly off-putting aswell.

Haha, I just posted another thread on this. Didn't see yours. Some of the comments on it are completely ridiculous.

even a taipan bite isnt gonna kill you that fast in normal circumstances.

I have seen this program alot of times before, but I do like to watch the bit about Bill Haast he is an incredible person to watch work, just no copying what he does , the program is at least 10 years old.

I liked the "Boas and pythons are the same family" comment.

Oh, and their sporadic use of video of ball pythons when talking about "deadly pythons"

Thought some of the clothes and hairstyles we're a bit... interesting

Wild Bill's moustache was a thing of wonder though.

Was it just me, or was that older guy wrestling with a milksnake or kingsnake of some sort when he was doing the cobras? Or is there a venomous which looks like a colubrid??
