Default Shedding issue

Hi my royal shed recently but retained one of the eye caps so to speak, what should i do i've tried moisening it but no joy, should i wait till he sheds again? cos i don't want to damage his eye by trying to get it off.

thats always a hard one to do if you dont have any experince removing them! it can be done see if anyone near by or a shop can help you. personally would not leave it till the next shed as it could restrict the next one and cause more problem see if you local reptile shop can help you!

I've only ever had this once and applied Johnson's Baby Oil (with Aloe Vera) using a cotton bud to ease it off. It took a couple of applications over a day or so to soften it but it worked a treat,

Had the same thing with my male sand boa. Wouldnt recomend 'Rubbing' the snake with anything. I got some masking tape, stuck it to my hand a few time till it was only just sticky and gently rolled it over his head. came off on the first roll with no stress at all to the snake. Dunno where i read about that technique but it works a charm
