only 3 times ive had my own snake about a month and a half and been tagged about 9 lol i didnt even get tagged that much when i used to help out at my local rep shop

I've never had a snake bite, but I do take every precaution when handling my 2' RP:

I agree with you Zaphod. As a newbie who has never been bitten by a snake I was nervous at first. I soon learned that Adam my rescued JCP is a real softy and has never even looked crooked at me, even when annoyed. He just tries to wriggle away if I do something he doesn't like.

Having said that, I do realise he could bite me someday, and it's good for a newbie like myself to see pictures of what I can expect if it ever does happen.

I doubt anyone here would be put off snakes by seeing these pics to be honest. Of course dog bites can be way worse, and dogs can kill. There IS sensationalism about dogs too though.

The worst bite I ever had was from my cat who didn't want to go to the vet. Impressive when you take into account that he was 24 years old, had only three teeth left, and that I was attacked by a Doberman guard dog when I was 7 years old!!!
