always been nervous as to whether my corn will bite, does it hurt at all or is it more of shock from him striking?

No, in my opinion, even a bite from an adult Corn doesn't hurt. Trust me, it's just the shock of the strike, but you'll quickly get over that. I stopped jumping a while ago now (better for their teeth, LOL).

My baby cali bit me, sh*t myself... It didn't hurt, but bloody hell it was quick... lol... the shock got me before I had the chance to think about the bite lol...

Just glad it was a baby, and only a cali too lol

B dendrophila has actually got a fairly potent venom known as a three finger toxin consisting of the same neurotoxins that are present in cobra and mamba venom and the same haemotoxins as are present in viper venom. Fortunately, they lack an efficient delivery system and don't produce really significant amounts, otherwise I'd be communicating through Yvette Fielding and Derek Acorah now
