Default western hoggie normals and tri-colours?

Hi how easy is it to get these two snakes at the moment as 08 and what would i be looking to pay

these are 2 diferent species. if you shop around you'll get westerns for £30 - £40 and tri colours for about £100

i thought they were hognoses and hognose tricolours or am i wrong i thought tricolours were a morph of hognose

Yes you were wrong! They are two separate species. ask Schip from this forum about them as she has loads!

nope, the tri colours are an entirely different species. south or central american i believe?

Totally different species..... you can get albino hognose though as a morph of the western

Tri colours are usually at least 3-4 x the price though!

Western is Heterodon nasicus nasicus

Tri colour are a south american species in the genus Lystrophis

I wouldn't retail a tri-coloured for less than £150 in my shop and I've seen them as high as £250 in shops... obviously whatever you're buying a shop is unlikely to be the cheapest option!
