How many Adult mice it on , mines 2 1/2 foot & takes 2 adult mice would take more given half a chance they are totally food driven, also maybe you should just take a few strikes & see if it settles down again once it no longer percives you as food or threat...

The other thing to consider is have you changed your deoderant or washing powder? Things like that can make a difference.

i personally would just take the bites a few times, and dont put him down until he stops biting, it worked with a ew aggresive snakes i have had before, and it worked well especially with one of my calis, although im allergic to there saliva so was itchy and swolen lol. the bites them selves dont hurt, and one he realises you arent bothered, they usually stop, i supose its worth trying if you dont mind being bitten.
He is a pig for food and will eat as many mice as i choose to give him......how many would you recommened a week as he always wants to eat?
Just had him out no mites present, he seemed ok tonight but i did have gloves on lol.
Dont mind getting bitten as he has bitten me before its just getting him to let go is the problem last time he swallowd my finger and it took 45 mins to detatch any suggestions have been told to turn the cold water tap on and put his head under the water but that seems too cruel so never did it.
Will have to get a pict uploaded of him

i wouldnt use gloves, just have a piece of cotton wool with vinegar on ready, and stick that right next to his mouth, as soon as he tastes it he will let go, it may be a long drawn out process, if he keeps biting, keep adding the vinegar, and if that doesnt work straight vodka will. but try vinegar first.

and if he seems a healthy weight i would stick to what you are feeding him, i would imagine he weights 500g+ if he is 5and a half foot.

Got him out and he was as placid as anything, was nice to have my old snake back, thought i would have another go yesterday got him out he striked missed me and managed to bite himself instead after that he was on the warpath very fast in moving around and totally alert to anything that moved, so i put him back to caklm down, have a up to date pict of him now so will upload it later, as got to make a trip to the pet shop to get mice and locust, and avoid temptatiom to bring home a new addition

well glad he setled a little bit, to be honest i had a snake very similar, it bit every time you moved, so basically i kept moving, got bit about 30000000000 times, but its now one of the friendliest snakes i own, they get fed up of biting after a while, and as long as you have the vinegar ready you will be fine looking forward to seeing the pic.
