My eldest corn goes nuts if she's held by anyone else.. she'll constrict their hand and adopt the S position, but never actually strikes, she never has. But the minute I take her back, she just loosely gets her grip on me, and sits there as still and calm as anything. What can I say, she has good taste

There's no such thing as an affectionate snake.
They 'bear' us at most. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for my snakes to feel about me the same way I do about them, but is just isn't going to happen. If you have a snake that just about stands your company, you are on to a winner.
