ok well not technically, but arrived home after watching sex in the city, to find 26 perfect little boa's lying in a pool of jelly and umbilical cord!
its my first ever attempt at breeding anything and its worked so i'm very happy indeed.
i didn't know how hard it was gonna be though to get each one sorted. its taken me 4 hours! i spent a time watching the female with her babies, i 'm sure she was showing some maternal instincts. nudging the babies that were not moving yet to get them going a bit! absolutely fascinating stuff and without doubt the best moment ever for me in keeping reptiles.
if anyone on here is keeping snakes but doesn't intend to breed, think again, coz it is the most rewarding experience you could have!
and before you all say it, i'll post a few pics in the morning, or early after noon which is probably when i'll be waking up after tonights exploits
