at least it was put on the internet to show others what can happen and hopefully prevent it ever happening again

That bad but i still dont realise why the snake wouldnt just kill it instead of just trying to protect its head. I have been told they are pretty stupid but surely not that bad?

But then I also think the owner should have looked up what he was doing before he did it.

That is shocking. Id imagine a snake with severe wounds like that would need putting down?

I have live fed twice and would again if needed!
However, it was under my supervision, and for whatever reason if the live feed was rejected, within 20mins of me watching i would remove and offer to another good feeding reptile.
I would prefer to keep the rat/mouse as a pet than leave it in a viv unsupervised with my beloved reptiles

some people just think you can juet put the food in and leave it.

i for one would never live feed mainly due to the fact i also keep rats but i know how much damage rats can do especially after seeing them fight over who was the dominate male not nice to see and a trip to the vets for a hole in one of the rats back luckely he was ok
