Default New Ghost Corn - Pics!

Here's my new girl...got some pics whilst I was checking her over after getting her...then straight into her new viv to settle in for a few weeks

Really chuffed with her...she's an adult female, bought her from a couple fairly local to me...

Proven breeder; good temperement fine to handle (although this doesn't make much of a difference anyway as we don't tend to handle our lot), in great health...if very slightly on the porky side?

I paid £40 for her...really pleased...

Just out of interest, to all you corn fans out there - is she definately a ghost or is she an annery? If it's too hard to tell from the pics then not to worry. I know the morphs fairly well, but I know there can be such a difference colourwise between ghosts that it may be deceptive...just thought I would double check

Hope you like

thanks for the kind comment

Yep; I'm absolutely over the moon with her...really gorgeous. I had been sent some pics of her, but wasn't prepared for her being so stunning in the flesh. Lol... Really pleased!

I'm putting together some corn snake stock with a view to breeding...so she is a great addition.

Thanks guys

Yep...she is a bit of a porker, Lol... You can't really tell from the pics; but I have never seen a corn so chunky. The woman said she was fed every week on adult mice, so perhaps just in her genes. Doesn't sound like she was overfed and she hasn't got 'hips' or anything...

Should get some nice eggs from her hopefully

Never been much of a corn person until recently; and I'm now in love with her!

Xavier - I see you live around 20mins away from me; nice to see some local folk on here

Ghost is a form of Anery so you might just be seeing that in her She looks lovely though.

Yeah, an annery hypo...

I just wondered if she was a ghost or an annery as I am not too great at telling the two apart visually as it stands, lol.

Not had too many dealings in corns yet; although I kept a snow and an amel as my first two snakes...then an adult male a few years ago which was sold to me as an annery - yet looked exactly like her. Lol...confusing.

Cheers

Ooer, small world! Well ... not that small, 20 minutes away in any direction could pretty much be anywhere, but close enough XD

She's just a larger lady, and i've found corns to be massively underrated. It's a shame really, not many appreciate the beauty of a corn morph in the same way they would for a ball Oh well. More for the corn lovers

Lol...yep...20mins in the direction of Appleby Around 20mins anyway...

My partner works for a company in Penrith.

I must admit; royals are my favourite snake; yet corns come a very close second for different qualities...Lol. I get a real kick out of both species, both in their own way...and corns have and still are certainly growing on me.
