Default Getting plastic cages made??

just wondering, has anyone ever contacted a plastics maker for example, to see what it would cost to get cages made? ie just the plastic box, then you can put the glass in, drill your vent holes etc yourself. Be interesting to know what kind of deal you could get

I think this has been covered a few times.
As afr as i can remember it cost around £10,000 to have a mould made and tooled, and that generally prohibits people getting into it.
Herptek have cornered the market already with a good product, i think.

I think its more of a steel mould for injection moulding, plus plastic is also pretty expensive, as its a derivative of oil, i think ?

With plastic cages, they'll pretty much be as good as the day you got them 5 years later, i had a bunch of old visions i sold recently, and they
almost looked unused.
A lot of people dont realise that they will easily outlast any wooden viv
and will not rot, warp, fall apart etc
