Not wanting to put a downer on things and it probably wouldn't happen anyway - but a coulpe of threads have been started by corn/kingsnake owners saying their snake has had this funny fit kinda thing then just keeled over and died. Could it be a similar thing? (But hopefully without the dead bit)
