Lots of nice morph boas out there, but you have to pay for them, even "just" albinos are still holding values over £500. Need to decide on how much you can spend first, "tight budget" could mean £20 or £200.

Retic, afrock, burm, g.conda and scrub python

Typically that last entry of indian isn't added as they aren't in the same size league really.

The "big 5" are:

Retics
Green Anacondas
Burms
African rocks (sebae, not natalensis which is in the same range as indians)

dont get one mate. wait till u left home and have the room and knoweledge to keep one. this way you get the most from a brilliant snake. good luck

why is the scrub python in there and the Morelia Amethystina not. these commomly get to 5 metres. skinny i know but so is a retic

I agree with all others, get yourself a nice boa. I have two, both of whom, although not morphs are lovely colours and I paid less than £200 each for them.

Here's my dark male Chance (in the box for feeding but wont eat), you can get a lovely colour without paying for a morph if you shop around:

Common BCI's are awesomely pretty snakes in my opinion:

I would love a Burm

But I just do not think at 5 ft 3 and not exactly on the heavy side that I could handle the beauty

However much I try to convince myself I would be able to
