if theres any doubt that you wont be able to house it where you are living now then dont get one, I cant stress that enough because you never know for sure where you will be in a few years time, and without knowing you have somewhere for it, its irresponsible

Most of them are calm and docile, but you do get the odd one or two that are quite aggressive and unpreditctable, i have 2 one has never struck and is really tame and the other one day ok the next a total nightmare, but you have to know how to react to the snakes body language and respect it, its not like messin with a corn snake or summet, were talking about a snake that if female could easly get upto 18ft and weigh 150-200lbs.
Have you had experiance handling large snakes before? Cos if you havnt then i wudnt just get a Burm cos u want a big snake, also can you afford to house it and feed rabbits, chickens and even pigs to it, as all these do add up over time.

they have been known to reach 9ft within 18 months. frim my experience with burms they are loverly snakes to keep but they do get big. and if by any chance you get the black sheep of the litter that turns out to be a knightmare than you need the experience and know how to cope with that. i'd sugggest getting a boa or a large carpet to gain a lil knowlege of how to handle a large snake.
