Just take him to the vets anyway and get him a checkup
Cos if there is something wrong youd be kicking yourself if it died.
It might not be from being caught but i know crickets can sometimes carry nasty parrasites that can pass on, i know people who have had reps die form dodgy crickets.
Anyway just get him to the vets to do an overall checkup
