got my 2 female corns with pics

hey everyone, i got my 2 amel female corns and with pics as promised. the pics are not that great cause i had to use a web cam as i have no batteries for digital camera(it kills batteries). i could only get a pic of one of them as the other was too scared to come out, also i changed the bark substrate to newspaper cause i could see poo in several different places including the heat mat, which is also now under the tank outside. please give me all the feedback on the tank. wanna improve it as much as i can

i would cover the two sides as it will make them more secure and when you need a bigger viv go for a wooden one as they hold the heat better than glass ....other than that it looks good but do you have the mat on a thermerstat

no the guy i got them off didnt have a thermostat. i will get one wednesday when i get paid

hey everyone im getting my first corn snakes today, theyre 7 months old and both female.
will they live together for the rest of their lives with out any problem or is it best to keep them apart. i know they have been living together fine so far but not sure if they will become terretorial or something.
also has anyone got any good names, im pretty sure there amel, one is slightly more red and the other is slightly more orange. will post pics when i get them in a few hours.
im buying them off someone who admitted he has not got enough time on his hands and wants to give them to a good home before he starts to ignore them, so i gave him £100 for everything. only problem is that he has no thermostat, he has a digital and analogue thermometer, just glad nothing serious has happened so far, do alot of people not use thermostats and how safe is it, i always thought it was dangerous

thats great just keep an eye on temps till you get one and as said cover both sides up as will make them feel more secure

another thing, the snakes seem to like the news paper cause they can go underneath it but i bet they will poo under there. yeah i will cover the sides. is the thermostat i need a mat stat? seen alot of stats and im getting that one wednesday

yep they all like going under the paper ...and a mat stat will be fine use your thermometer to set it correctly though as the dials on the stats are just a guide
