any1 in essex that can probe???

as above im looking for someone in essex that can probe. i have 2 bci that i would like 2 get probed to confirm their sex.

i am nr braintree so the closer the better.

Im from clacton but cannot probe, ive seen vids and it seems pretty simple. YouTube - Probing a corn snake wouldnt mind trying it myself

If you have never done it before it is certainly not something you should try on your own. I have never done it myself but have seen it done many times but i would never atempt to do it without someone who knows what they are doing there. I admit it does look easy but you could quite easily damage your snake.

I agree, when you watch an experienced herper doing it, it appears very easy. If however you dont probe deep enough, you can wrongly sex female, and if you dont have "The feel" for it, you can push too hard, and damage a female, cos you thot it was male.
