Na breeders choice is just like kitty litter...we also have calcium-sand here but it's not very popular due to the cost...To be safe I wouldn't be feeding your snake in the same enclosure if you are going to use a substrate that he can accidently eat, too much and you will most probably end up with a blockage etc..
Perhaps try feeding him in a seperate tub

Can we change the underlined bit to "may, possibly". The reason i say that, as while i have known it happen to geckos i've not seen a case in snakes, nor have i had one in the last 15+years.

At the end of the day they must eat loads of little bits of mud n sticks n things when feeding in the wild so i wouldnt worry really unless its a mouthfull, but from personal experience you will see the snakes mouth gaping trying to get it out anyway, you can always get it out with tweezers if you have a well behaved snake.

Default Ta for tha advice ya'll

I used newspaper when she was a nipper but in a 3ft viv it looks not very good.. Aspen is my choice but just checking its cool to use.. I have been told its safe buy the guy in the shop but i dont take they're word at all.. I would recommend it to anyone.. Once she's done her deed its easy to spot and you just have to pick it out an cover with new aspen..

Ive fed her in her tank since i had her and i aint gonna change that.. I supervise her when feeding anyhows, so i can spot the trouble.. Like tha dude above said.. They will eat **** like tha in tha wild and survives..
