have a look through the classifieds on here; I know reptile world on the forum has a nicely grown on male for £400 at the moment - in Manchester though...

I'll have some available, but not for a few months yet, likely the end of the year.

You could also try www.captivebred.co.uk ; these are all imports from Markus Mandic in Canada (markus Jayne ball pythons - Markus Jayne, Ball pythons | ballpython.ca)

There should be a number of people on here that have or can get spider royals.

Are you used to keeping royals?

I play with royals & boas at the local reptile shop, so far we've only kept at home chilean & red kneed tarantulas & corn snakes. But im sure il be ok with a python, I watch & help them feed them when pythons can be bothered to eat lol

You do know you don't need a pair of them to produce visual Spider offspring, right?

Spider's a dominant gene, and therefore even if you bred to a normal you'd be liable to get SOME Spider babies.

mostly spiders, some normals; I do believe... correct me if my brain isn't working though...

1 in 4 would be normal
1 in 4 would be a co-dominant spider
2 in 4 would be spiders

although I may be wrong...

you would be better off buying 1 spider male and two or three normal females, this way you should, theoretically, produce 50% normals and 50% spiders. AFAIK homozygous spiders, from spider x spider, are no different to het spider. If you want 2 you could alwasy mate one with an albino to get normal het albino and spider het albino.

I did think of breeding them, but not really had much thought about it. Its just that the 2 ive seen are pretty close to eachother, I do believe theyre from the same parents, If I did breed them which would happen obviously if kept together would be great, seems that 2 males dont get on so im told in most snake species. Thats why I wanted one of each originally but then we do know nature will take her course
