Surely the fierce snake/inland taipan are the same snake

there are a few vipers! could you be a bit more specific on number 7?
from what i've just found, it looks like the fierce snake was discovered in 1879

In most cases they took the genus as whole ,Due to different delivery methods (intramuscular,intraperitonel,intravenous or subautaneous)& the amount of venom delivered by one snake may not deliver the same amount of venom when it bites again.

but the genus as a whole is extremely basic, you cannot compare the venom of a copperhead with a saw scaled viper for example.

I dont see how that can be interpretted as having a go mate, that wasnt how it was intended that was just questioning the credibility of the research, not aimed at you.
